Welcome to the website of the oldest Legion in Halifax, founded by veterans of WW1 in 1927 for the comradeship and social advocacy of their disabled comrades.

Although many of the brave men and women of the World Wars and Korea have passed on, they leave a legacy of distinction and honour. As long as there are wars, there will be veterans. Today, veterans of Afghanistan and Canadian Peace Keeping around the world deserve the same honour and respect of fellow Canadians. Because of their valour, we enjoy their building and the freedom of country for which they sacrificed and protected.

Whether you visit our legion to enjoy one of the many events we host, be in the company of our warm and welcoming staff or just stopping by for a drink or two, when you look around the room at RCL VIMY 27, most everyone you will see is a direct descendant of one of our fallen or surviving veterans.
